Apollo:
Was born in the island of Delos, son of Zeus and Leto. Had a twin sister named Artemis. He is the God of: Music, Oracles, Prophesy, Healing, and later the Sun. He was The Archer, far shooting with a silver bow. The god of truth, who can not speak a lie. He loved to play the Lyre(musical instrument like an arp) , a golden Lyre; he won several music contests.
His symol is a bow and arrow, he helped Paris( Hector´s brother) to slay Achilles heel with an arrow, beacuse Achilles killed Hector. He was in love with the nymph Daphne, who fled away from his embrace and turned into a laurel tree. He uses a branch of laurel in his head. The most famous mortal loves of Apollo was Hecuba, she was the wife of Priam, the king of Troy. He also fell in love with Cassandra, the sister of Troilius, and daughter of Hecuba and Priam. He was handsome, creative, intelligent, had the same soft spot of his father Zeus. His major temple sites were the mountain town of Delphi. His tree was the laurel. The crow his bird. The dolphin his animal. When he got mad with someone, he declared his or her prophesies. He fell in love with some youths (man) such as: Hyacinthus, Cyparissus, etc. Well as far as I know Apollo doesn´t appear in any moovie, just in few books such as: Oedipus the king , The Iliad, The Odyssey, etc.
